Dec 3, 2025 we recognize the experiences, voices and rights of people living with disabilities. This day serves as a reminder that disability is not a limitation, it is a form of human diversity. Yet many individuals still face barriers that impact their access, opportunities, and sense of belonging.

In therapeutic spaces, it’s essential to acknowledge that disability can shape how someone moves through the world, how they are treated, and the support they may need. Mental health care becomes stronger when it is accessible, adaptive and grounded in respect for each person’s lived experience.

On this day, we honour the resilience of people with disabilities, advocate for environments that reduce stigma, and recommit to creating communities that prioritize inclusion and dignity.

Healing grows when every body and every mind is welcomed.
